Nele Michelsen

My name is Nele Michelsen, I am an agricultural economics student at Bingen University of Applied Sciences and an assistant at Irriport GmbH. Here, I am helping to set up the Irriport Academy, taking on organizational tasks and designing external communications, particularly via social media and our website.

 

I have already gained experience in various areas: as a laboratory assistant, I was able to deepen my technical understanding of modern analytical equipment, while at university I gained my first insights into research work and data evaluation.

 

Today, I focus on supporting the expansion of the Irriport Academy, from organizational preparation and digital communication to direct contact with partners and institutions. I am particularly fascinated by how agriculture, sustainability, and digitalization can be combined to use water as a resource more efficiently and responsibly.
