Brice Lemarechal

B.Sc. Molecular Biotechnology

- Agricultural scientist specializing in micro-irrigation, digitalization, and international project implementation.

About me

Hello, I am Brice Lemarechal, an agricultural scientist with international project experience in the fields of irrigation, digitalization, and agricultural production systems.

After completing my agricultural studies in Göttingen, I gained a wide range of experience in research, practical work, and project work. My assignment for GIZ in Madagascar as part of the global project on soil protection and soil rehabilitation for food security (SEWOH – ProSol) was particularly formative, where I supported project and knowledge management as well as monitoring and produced technical reports in German and French.

Further positions in research and teaching took me to the Institute for Sugar Beet Research and the University of Göttingen, where I worked on crop production, soil analysis, and experimental field management.

My areas of expertise are:

  • Planning, implementation, and digitization of irrigation systems

  • Project and quality management (FMEA, QFD, HACCP)

  • International agricultural science cooperation

  • Technical communication in German, English, and French

In addition to my professional activities, I have been volunteering with the Technical Relief Service (THW) in Göttingen since 2013. There, I am the squad leader of the drinking water supply specialist group and am qualified as a drinking water laboratory technician, treatment plant machinist, and pipeline builder.

With my background in agricultural science, technology, digitalization, and international project management, I bring a wide range of skills to innovative and practical irrigation solutions.
